Exciting Partnerships This Coming Season

3/8/2010 10:21pm by Carolyn Eastman

Ed and I have felt a strong connection with the farmers we stand next to at the farmer's market. We harvest our own products and we have a similar work ethic.  We deeply respect their commitment to their work.

It is with great pride and respect that Ed and I are partnering with Heron Pond, New Roots , and Lasting Legacy Farms.

We have said many times, that if it wasn't for the farmers, we wouldn't be here for a second season. I can say for myself, that I entered into the farmer's market world not knowing a thing and quickly learned  from the seasoned veterans at the various markets how to set up my tent and display my fish - we owe them a lot!  We are so proud of being a part of this group.

I can't even begin to tell you how all of you have impacted my husband and the fishing community. I get pretty emotional about all those people that took a chance on us last season- not only did you lift us up and help us begin to realize our mission, but you also helped the larger fishing community.

Over the course of the winter farmer's markets we brought in other fishermen to see what we were able to see- the local community interested in local fish! - to the fishermen this has been amazing! - from the eyes of the fishing families this is also amazing!

We can't wait to see all of you!

Many Thanks-

Carolyn

And we can't wait to see YOU :). We'll go to Exeter this Saturday. Will you have those absolutely-to-die-for mussels?

The new site looks great, BTW, and I LOVE that photo of you and Eddie.
